Develop .NET 8 apps that speak and listen with new .NET 8 Chant assemblies

Microsoft released .NET 8 and C# 12 with new features and performance enhancements that enable apps to be slimmer and run faster. Though .NET receives most of the fanfare, C#12 enables key optimizations to be realized.

More good news for us is that adding .NET 8 to our build server was uneventful and all new product assemblies for NET 8 are available in the latest Chant Developer Workbench installer. See Knowledge Base article H032318 for developing and testing with .NET 8.

Want to migrate apps to or from .NET? Migrating C++ and Java to or from C# or VB is pretty straightforward. The challenge most apps run into is dealing with the platform, runtime container, or framework requirements. We have experience with that.
